Challenger is a video-game reenactment of the 1986 space shuttle disaster.
In software, hardware, and (to an extent) subject matter, it mimics the esthetic of 1980s-era arcade gaming. I hope the viewer will approach it as an innocent vintage video game with no connection to reality, not fully associating it with the Challenger disaster until just before or at the pivotal moment.
I did not make this with the intention of causing offense, though I am aware that it’s a likely outcome for some.
